Hello again

Trying to decide whether it's worth saving £100 by buying a non Nikon flash, or will I regret it.

I currently own the Nikon speedlight SB-700 and I use it for evening party photography for up to around 3 hours. But I need a backup flash for when I need to rest it as it gets hot and stops firing.
Do you think the Metz 44 AF-1 would be good enough for the job? it has mixed reviews but overall they're good.

Ensure it does all the Nikon one does. Count the contact spots on both, ensure they are the same, for a start. Ed.
