Just came back from a short walk before it got dark. Saw some fall trees among the usual California greenery. Got a wide iPhone establishing shot then a proper close-up, post processed with Topaz Impression (Swirly Strokes preset).

I'm not a fan of effects filters but strangely, this works for me!

Thanks guys! This effect is similar to smudging which some people do manually.
