Poor little Madelyn bumped her eye!

Looks a lot worse than it was. She and her big sister were dancing when Maddie slipped, fell, and landed against the corner of a wooden box. A fair amount of screaming and tears followed ... but a dose of Ibuprofen made things better.

We were going to decorate "Bunny's" black eye to match, but were worried that it might not wash out.

Taken with the new Sigma 18-50 f/2.8 EX lens at 1/60s, f/3.5, ISO 200, bounced flash.
Aww... poor Madelyn! Hope she gets better soon!
I love the way the photo hugs her in close.

In spite of the black eye, I'd nominate the picture and the model for the cuteness award! Smile
Aaaah - poor love. It must have hurt, and quite frightening too for Mum and Dad as well as Maddie.

It's a very cute, touching picture though. I love that hint of a smile from behind "Bunny" - also those beautiful, 'squidgy' little dimpled knuckles, fingers and wrist only ever seen on tots. Big Grin

They grow up all too quickly !

Poor Maddie. I wish she gets well very soon. She is a beautiful girl! and here eyes are so expressive. The picture is beautiful, btw.

Owwwwy! Sad Poor little kid. Unfortunately, there will be more owies, just hopefully not these kind. She's too cute.
Great shot, ugly bruise on such a cute face.
