In this one Brett, I would have cropped a little tighter to avoid the tree in the left part and a light spot in the right part. About the color, I think it is just matter of taste, I would have gone for a less color picture sort of duotone and sharp a bit more.

I like the J-rays in the sky, but I don't care for the guard rail in the foreground - I would clone that out. Unfortunately, that makes the foreground pretty dark and blends in too much with the island/peninsula. Also the branchy thing in the upper right not good.

I think with this one a much tighter crop is the ticket - again crappy 2 second edit.

You can do more also with exposyre and contrast - but the crop is the right place to start.
I love the colour... absolutely lovely. Big Grin
