Now I'm c**king myself. :o :o :o :o

First the bad:

I have a fast, well maintained PC, and a 2mb BB connection. Loading was slow, and transitions rough.

BUT.

I had a scarey experience.
I think I understood your images Don. They scare me. They are "through a glass, darkly."
You have made me go :o :o :o :o :o :o :o Sad :/ Smile :o :x

Blimey.
By 'eck.

I need a rest.

:o
Thanks for checking it out. It loads in about 30 sec on my computer (cable modem) and the transitions are fine. If you have "flash" you can hear the music.

Hi Don,

Here you have my thoughts Smile.

I like it! Yesterday, I saw just few pictures and I went away, it was not because I didn't want to see your pictures, but because it is sort of borring just watching pictures... Today I played it with the music and I finished the show... It gave me another feeling, a pleasant feeling I could say.... I think the music makes a lot for the site. It is really a nice song.

What I would suggest is to separate your pictures by settings. I think the music you have now is fabulous for the street pictures... It has a nice rhythm for someone walking in the street, watching different aspects of the city... all what your street pictures are about... Perhaps for your indoors pictures, you could make another album with different environmental music... Also I don't know if there is an icon of a speaker to advice your visitors to turn the speakers on...

I don't normally like slide show as unique option to watch an album. Why? Because there are some sites, like yours in this case, that you can't stop the program and watch a bit longer one or another picture... and you just missed the detail you wanted to observe for a little longer... Do you know if there is a way to have some buttons there to stop and continue the program?

Irma.
I tend to agree with Irma regarding slideshows...

I think slideshows are great when you're presenting to a crowd or audience (say at a party or to a group of friends)... but when I'm online I like to drive Big Grin

I think a flash gallery with some background music would be my preference.
I got a flashy new program. I can renew it frequently because it simple to do. What I may do is give the option of that kind of flash show or one that's slower. Maybe I can slow down the images too. There are 80 images and I didn't want it to go on forever.

Maybe as Irma suggested - you should split up your slideshow into smaller ones - no more than 20 each...
Maybe I will next time I put it up.
