I guess this is the only place for links to other people's photos?

I just had to pass this one along. Every time I cross into Detroit, I see this building from the Interstate and it has always fascinated me. Finally, I now know what it is and what it looks like close up. It is truly amazing to think about what this building could look like if someone was willing to invest the $200-300 million it needs!

What are you doing in Detroit, gambling at Greektown?

I have cousins and in-laws in Michigan... The building is visible from I-96 as you head away from the Ambassador Bridge. You can see in at lesat one of those shots that there are NO other buildings around - at least not tall ones... Looks almost apocalyptic - like the last building standing in a flattened city.
