A new neighbor down a new block was preparing a bar b que on the bare driveway. I snapped this from a discrete distance when she picked up her cat.

I have some friends moving to Winterpeg in July - job transfer from sunny Victoria!!! (yikes). What are the chances they are moving into your neighbourhood? Life has a funny way of surprising us.

They don't have a place yet. They are coming out in June to buy something and then officially transferring in July. They have never been there, so I expect its going to be a whirlwhind of a weekend. Imagine having a weekend or so to buy a house!

Well when I came here in 1974 (it was December) we rented for 6 months before moving to a house.
