I've thought about this quite a lot... I dunno whether I'd jump in and help unless I knew what I was doing...

Not being a pessimist... but with all the suing and law suites these days.... i would be less inclined to help strangers in an accident. I would be calling the ambulance more like it.... then start taking photos. =P

I'd run into a nearby shadowy alley, tug my shirt open and say "It's web-slingin' time!"

I always think to myself that if the car was on fire I would try and get them out. But in real life I don't know if I'd have the guts if I was faced with a burning car because you would most definately recieve burns to a certain degree.
But like lots of other things it's easier said than done....... hahaha
If the car wasn't on fire it would be best to leave them in there if they were injured and call an ambulance because if they have neck injuries for instance if you move them without proper neck bracing you can do more damage then good.
So to answer the question I would try and help but the amount of 'help' would depend on the situation I suppose

Usually we help, like directing cars away untill authorities get there (If we are the first) and call the authorities. Then I'd take photos, any one intersted in pics I have of a car that ltterally got torn in 1/2 by a tree? then burnt to the frame

TODAY!
It happened!!
I was at Matilda Bay, with my camera by my side, on the footpath...!!!
I hear tyres screetching, so I look around, and I see a car hit another!
Stay and watch the people stop by the side and get out of car and inspect damages.... I was so tempted to turn camera on! but I had no bushes to hide in.
