A lake, a mountain and the sky! Enjoy.

Nice photo of a nice scene. Great stuff Pete. Smile
Yes. I imagine it would look great printed very large, and framed.
Great scene!

You got all the elements for a great landscape shot.

Well done.

Rufus thought was my first thought as well. This picture would look beautiful printed and framed. Wonderful picture.
The next day the grassy area in front was covered in snow but I did not get an opportunity to get any shots as it then rained all day. Sad

I have to agree with the large size and frame, which is why I put a bigger frame than I normally do, just seemed to scream out for it. Big Grin
Me too. Smile Sorry for the belated comment, your picture is beautiful. Love the silvery reflections on the water, it looks like a fresh wind blowing on a beautiful day.
Hey, thats okay, yes it was very pleasant. Next day mind you it was snow showers in the morning.
Great shot Peted,

I have spent a bit of time down your way...... I am wondering what lake it is??
This was taken at Lake Crackenback, up in the Snowy Mountains.
thanks Peted I have rellos in Cooma and spend a fair amount of time fishing the area, I just couldn't place.
Very nice Peted,

I particularly like the lazy rolling curves of the mountain and the way the clouds, trees and even the little grassy hill all seem to follow the same curve.

If it were a shot of mine, I might try to mask the sky and mountain on the right and try to extract a bit more contrast from them to give it a bit more drama, but it comes down to personal style really. The shot is great as it stands.

Snow on the ground.. brrrrrr... I came to Perth to get away from all that stuff!

Cheers

Beatuiful scenery and wonderful elements in the frame. Totally frame worthy I say...

Only critique is the usual bane of all landscape photographers - horizon. You can tell from the bridge on the left that there's a slight skew to the right... Big Grin
