Kind of corny I know, but its my photo from this year's Firefighter calendar. All proceeds go to the Children's Burn Fund. It usually generates thousands of dollars for a good cause.

This might be corny, but I wish I could produce pictures like this one. For me, this is a piece of art. The lighting and the BW treatment are perfect. The pose and expression of the model are unpretentious. It really comes together very nicely. The body is in slightly better condition than mine... oh well.

It's a great shot. How much control did you have over the setup and the final image editing? I've heard about these calendars before -- Toronto's always raises a fuss, which always raises its sales -- but never known what goes into making them. If there are any stories you can share from the creative side, I'd love to hear it.
