For me, I think that lots of RAM is needed

ram is essential for your computer to run at maximum capacity ...
Macs are good ... cause they have alot of power...
but still ..
i dont like using them ...
probably from bad experiences with the iMacs ..
The iMacs in the maths computing labs probably give MACS a bad name. It makes people hate macs....

They used have have Quake in the macs on the 1st floor of engineering building, but then Nathan removed it
When I see the good macs, they are used for music-making or image-editing, like multimedia things.
Are they much better in that way?

That's my desktop, but it's mostly used by my wife, as I use my laptop (wireless) of the time. Heheh
Sometimes the colours aren't quite right on the laptop though.
In terms of additional stuff, I was thinking of getting a graphics tablet...
For me, I don't use my desktop any much at all!
I'm just like shuttertalk, tapping away wirelessly on my laptop
And I agree abou the colours not being right, so I plugged in an external monitor for whenever I want to do colour-ful stuff. But even the monitor seems to have strange colours.

but i dont see much difference with it ...
But do you see the differences when you print out and compare to your screen?
i should try printing one day ^_-

I think that different places will print differently, like the colours they use and things like that
