Last night when Rufus' niece came for her guitar lesson she asked if we could teach her a bit abot photography. Rufus suggested we drove a little way out of town to take a few shots with her, so as I'd just received my latest eBay lens (an old MF Sima 400mm f5.6 APO) I jumped at the chance to try it out. The sun was already on it's way down whn we set out and it was completely dark when we came home. These are a few of my shots from the evening - not all the 400mm, but most are. I've made them smaller than usual because I don't usually post so many at one go!

None of these I'm afraid...she used Rufus' 10D, so maybe he'll post a coule. She seems very keen, which is nice, but is also very keen on guitar....and bass.....and drums...and a lot of other things too!

Wow! Multi talented!

I do like the composition in the path one: woulda also cropped the sky a little, but only my eye here. The moon one I like even more; again, for me, losing the right hand "bokeh"(I dunno why they use this word btw) would for me intensify it.
