I also did some experiments with water in the kitchen sink with my 350D recently... but I was using a chrome fruit bowl instead of a teaspoon to drip water into (and was after a different water effect).
I won't hijack your thread with my shots.. but can certainly agree that its a lot of fun to do little experiments like this, that water can be really interesting, and that it can be pretty easy to construct a makeshift "studio" out of your kitchen sink
I'm suprised you got that much detail from the water at 1/60th of a second though. Good job.
