I was bored and wanted to experiment with water drops and reflections...
So I dug out my 50mm f/1.8 and my trusty Chrome fruit-bowl (see some other shots with this lens and prop in this thread), but this time I also grabbed a reading lamp and took it all over to the kitchen sink.
It was not only tricky to take the shot at the decisive moment, but also to get the focus spot-on because you were focussing on the space where the drop would appear, and at f/1.8 the DOF was tiny. I took many shots.
Here are two of the better shots that resulted..

f/1.8, 1/2000th second, 800 ISO (gold tint caused by using tungsten lighting and tweaking white balance)

f/1.8, 1/1600th second, 1600 ISO. This has white balance set to give more accurate colours, but the drop of water has been tinted red in Photoshop.
