This shot was at a friend's outdoor wedding last weekend. It was a medieval/ renaissance theme so i played with the look of things in ps elements a bit.
Love her dress!
I like the look you've given it too
Very nice post processing... fits nicely with the theme of your picture

Nice processing - seems very mystical.

Great work, but then I already told you that
Phlip is one of my co-workers. Welcome to shuttertalk.
Very nice work Philp. Love the colour tone and softness. Well done.
Wow philip, absolutely stunning photo. The subject and composition is beautiful, and the glow gives it a great effect. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Everybody...I appreciate your welcoming and kind comments. Feel free to critique. Here's the Bridesmaid's daughter, the flower girl.

Lovely retouching phlip! Really enhances the focus of the shot.
Your colour fade/half sepia technique is great. Care to share?
Currently I'm using PS Elements. I use the "Diffuse Glow" filter to my liking, then I de-saturate the colors about a quarter to half way. Thanks for the comments.
Phil
Thanks Phlip. Should maybe create an action for this?

Wow, awesome Philip... I must try your technique too...
The Bridesmaid photo is gorgeous!
They are both beautiful! Love your processing! Those dresses are too cool.
Hope you don't mind, I borrowed your technique. Here's what I came up with in less than 5 mins. A big improvement on my own processing, don't you think?

hi
yes but still think you should desaturated more the main subject and maybe add some sepia to the all pix...me fussy againg

(sorry for taking over your post, Philip!)
Thanks for your feedback Christian!
I was worried about washing out her skin tones and the background so I've duplicated the layer, changed the opacity until I was happy with her dress and then erased in her skin and the background and added a little Sepia. Anything else?

hi schell
maybe you should post the original image in photoshop playground and we can take it from there?
do you want to duplicate the effect that philip did? he sepia everything, as you can see from the skin tones from his pix. he also mentio that he desaturated the one of his layers.

Here's my two cents
