wow toad... that really works!
beautiful colour, and I love the light on the thingy.. you know.. the thingy on legs with the bendy thingy
Great lines Toad. Again, good eye. Smile
Are all you guys going daft? Photos of small random features of the environment! Unheard of.

Anyway this is a nice shot.
As always your pictures are a lesson to me about composition and color.
Your post procesing is also wonderful...
Splendid picture and work Toad...
Thanks to everybody for your kind words!

Irma: my color post-processing is the result of playing individually with the 3 color channels of the photo. I select the "channels" palette and apply curves to each of the 3 color channels independently. In this mode, you are working with B&W images. I modify the curve of each channel until I like the tone and contrast of each B&W image. When I switch back to the normal 3 channel color view - sometimes the results are extraordinary.

Not always - like all techniques - it is trial and error. This doesn't work very well in any photo where realistic color is required.
Thanks Toad.. I just worked with one picture of a sunrise and I worked beautifully.
Cool photo.

I'm waiting for Dick Van Dyke to dance through with a broom. Smile
