For me the tree on the right makes the shot. It looks like it's in a normal vertical photo, but everything else is wildly off kilter. Combined with the colours of the sky, it makes for an almost surreal image.

I like your picture a lot Don. I like the effect you give with the horizon...
To me it looks like if it were a bit curved... maybe it is the cloud just above the houses that makes that impression...
