What a neat trick!!
My focus and exposure were a bit off, if I did it again I'd use a tripod and smaller apeture.
1/50th at f/8, iso 200, 50mm held on backwards.
I wouldn't use it regularly but just to have a go it works pretty well! Thanks Kombi!
Wow cool! Now I'm itching to try too...
Neat pics, Schell!
I like a lot your results.... The strawberry looks fantastic Shcell.... Great detail you got in your pictures...

They are great, I like the second one the most., so much to look at.
I wanted to capture something not quite as beautiful...
What do you think?

Wow cool pic, Smarti! Looks out of this world!!
What technique did you use?
p.s. love your avatar pic by the way... hilarious!

I'm an absolute beginner so use very basic techniques...
Using Pentax istDS with sigma 28-80 lens with macro switch and camera in macro mode / RAW, I just got as close as the focus would let me. The flash caused a bit too much reflection in the eyes and face so I tweaked it slightly with photoshop.
The technical bit was chasing the bug around the back yard until he got too tired and had no choice but to pose.
I just need to learn when to stop with photoshop...
