I recently purchased a Nikkor 62 mm macro lens, I have discovered a passion for closeup and macro photography! I own a decent tripod, and a few filters. I would like any other recommendations for purchases as a pursue this area of photography. I currently own a Nikon D70 and D100 with a nikon SB800 speedlight.

Hey kadurf... I think experimentation is the key - after a while you'll figure out what else you need in your kit...

Perhaps a ring flash?

Well you pretty much set with the gear you have, if i was to buy something it would be a flash bracket to get he sb800 off camera.

And i agree with Jules a experiment is a great!
