Its been ages since I posted any shots of my cats, and Danni was asleep on the couch beside my camera bag today.. so I simply picked up my camera and started shooting, knowing it would wake her up.

This little series of shots were all taken in the order they appear here, just seconds apart. They give you a very good idea of the way Danni fills in her busy days at the moment. Just imagine these actions repeat 50 times a day with just the occassional wander to the food bowl to interrupt her busy schedule.


1. Leave me alone, I'm asleep


2. She's just woken up and opened her eyes


3. A big yawn


4. And now a stretch


5. And finally some grooming - in the most uncomfortable position possible.

Beautiful series, Adrian... I wish I was a cat sometimes...

But I love the shots you've captured, especially when it's caught in the middle of a yawn... I like the tight crop / compositions as well - it really brings out the intimacy in the pictures.

good series..................love #2 and #4 makes me want canon 50 prime!

How cosy she looks... All your pictures are great but I love the last one... They are fantastic to find very uncomfortable position and look so cool Sometimes I think I should learn that from Lucky... Well, I mean, to look cool when I am in difficult situation...
