Happy Australia day everyone! Big Grin

It's a public holiday here so I've decided to try some stuff around the home. As cliched as it is, I've always wanted to try the water droplet shots, so here's my attempts. It was quite hard to do - the 18-70 didn't focus close enough, so I switched to the 55-200, but couldn't be behind the camera because of the distance. So I ended up pressing the shutter release with one hand, and the other dropping water into the bowl using a sponge with the other...

#1 - That was a big one!

Thanks for looking!
Looks like #3 almost made it.
It seems that you got a great place to take falling droplets Smile
The second one is great... I love the reflection of the window in the droplet...
I like the third shot. I should have a go at this myself some day...
Thanks for the comments! I think it would be easier if you had a macro lens because of the distance, or if you had constant water dripping say a tap, or someone helping? The tap wasn't placed in a good spot so I moved to a table next to the window...

It helps to check your focus beforehand too (manual focus possibly) - the first pic isn't terribly in focus...
