Bought some new drums (well 2nd hand actually) for church yesterday... it's Peace brand, which is supposedly made in the same factory as Pearl (wooo..) and is metallic blue in colour. Excellent condition on the shells, and it had silencer pads too! Came with a nice 20" ride (Magic, made in Germany) but the crash and high-hats were basically tin cans.

Today we went to our local music shop and got a Zildjan Planet Z kit (16" crash, high-hats and a 20" ride), so the kit actually sounds quite decent.

I polished everything yesterday and stuffed a pillow in the bass drum... today I was jamming with my wife (she plays drums, I play guitar) and yeah... very happy!

We have a Tama kit. 5 drums and 5 cymbals including a splash and a Chinese. I must photograph the inside of the church for you to see.........

So who is your drummer then, and who is bass?

Drummer is my lovely wife... and bass... err... we're working on that.

I plan to play the bass when I'm not playing accoustic guitar... but so far, that hasn't happened yet.
