Thought I'd share a few B&W images with y'all. Shot these at Upper Canada Village, at Morrisburg, Ontario.
Enjoy...

These are pretty interesting - particularly #1 and #2 (which looks like a stairway to nowhere due to the point of view).

P.S. Can you edit the post to space them just a bit further apart? #2 and #3 are a bit too close togethe to have visual independence.
Thanx Toad for the feedback, I spaced it and should be better now. Wink

#1 and #2 are my favourites, too. As Toad already mentioned, the looks of a stairway to nowhere is interesting. You should try adding more contrast to your shots, then they are more dramatic.
hi

wooowwww nice shots of dead trees

I agree with xeox to add a little of contrast and maybe a bit of doucolours. maybe something like this

Good stuff, Thanx! Looks cool. These images have already been sharpened, darkened, some burned and contrast elevated on them, as I shot these with my 18-55 kit lens which is rather on the soft side! Smile
I like them all. Interesting without clutter.

p.s. ha ha the price of the 350d is coming down. (£514 sterling) with 18/55 kit lens.
Reckon by easter I should be able to collect mine for around £30.00Big Grin
Good luck, Now you can also think about the new 30D! I am Smile
Great shot with #2 - love the symmetry and leading lines. Nice b/w work too!
Lovely work, i love logging on to Shuttertalk and being transported around the world, to places I would never see, even if I was on holiday!

My favorite is no. 2
Well said Schell. Its great to browse around here and see different parts of the world and different seasons.

I really like #1 Janika. It reminds me of some kind of sadistic medieval torture device or seige machine. Lovely detail in the woodgrain and the chain works really well to draw the viewer's eye down into the hole.
Thanx guys for the commentary. I'll post some more later from this place... Wink
