Morning Smile

I went to the forest yesterday and I wasn't too successful... I walk a lot in two different places and no, there was nothing nice... At the end of my walk I saw a padlock and I took two or three pictures... I thought to work with it in potomatix and get a HDR image... I liked the result but I thought it was not too beautiful, but anyway as I didn't have much to add to my flickr page... I uploaded it...

I just got the news that my picture is in explorer*!! in the second page!!... it is number 15 at the moment... Smile
I am so happy!!

*explorer gathers the 500 best pictures uploaded in a given day... flickr receives from 300.000 to 500,000 every day. I thought shuttertalk had to see this picture as well Smile I am very happy... Smile

Sometimes we are our own worse critic. The image is of it's own style. Very good Irma. Well done and congrats.Smile
I like this one a lot
Congrats Irma,
this shot is almost too realistic and too perfect Tongue
Thanks a lot for your comments Smile

I also worked in this one square format... and I like it, because frames nicely your pictures... specially in still life pictures... it is as if you were closer to the subjects... I think... Smile
Wonderful Irma.... has that rustic feel to it. Congrats on the Explorer entry also! Big Grin
Congratulations Smile I really need to read up on HDR and try it myself.
Irma -- that is a superb image, very realistic and very deserving of the accolades! Cool

Very well done and many congratulations! Big Grin

Its a great technique, Irma - and a great use of it.
Thanks so much for your comments... Smile I like it a lot too...

This technique always surprises me... even with everyday things works so well, and makes them shine... now I am looking for a window with stained glass... I have seen pictures and they look great.... Smile
