Nothing serious - just messing around with PhotoShop. I had 3 photos of this fellow from different vantage points at MOMA (one higher - 1 lower) - and thought I would combine them into something that reminded me of the Magritte paintings there. This window is obviously his favorite spot.

Very artful in it's own right. Well done Rob.

I agree........like the comp and in particular the mirror image on our right!
very well done!
Thanks - the "painting" on the right was taken from a balcony 2 floors above looking down through the window behind the main figure. The other shot was from a balcony 1 floor below aiming up at the same window.
Now I understand the picture!!!
I was fascinated by the lines, but I knew there would be a key in the paintings, but I couldn't get it..... now, with your explanation I got it...
They have opposite perspectives, so to say... This is very ingenious...

I like it a lot!!!...

Spectacular.. You are into this tampering with the literal in a big way.
Toad, that is just jaw dropping !

. Amazing thought process also to come up with such a unique idea. Congratulations

Fantastic thought process as SG says, and brilliantly executed Toad.
I love shots like these that might look a bit whimsical on the surface, yet clearly have meaning that stays with you when you look away.
Well done!

Well thanks people - I treated this one as a bit of a fun throwaway - so I am really glad people like it. The whimsical, surreal nature of this one is pure Magritte - some of his paintings feature paintings within paintings - often featuring another view of the primary subject. So I can't really take credit for the thought process - much as I would like to...
