One flower.

Front / Back.

A different type of contrast.






I wanted to get closer to the spider but it was just too small...
Comments welcome.

The focus in the first picture is pin sharp, like the composition.

Focus is slight off in the second though, looks like its locked onto a part of the flower instead of the spider.

Beautiful light and detail in the first one... I like the composition ...
I would darkened a bit the light in the background... just a bit...

I like the composition in the second one as well... but I see it a bit soft... I see like a face in the spider???

Clear focus was a big issue with these. I was limited to manual focus by my 2 x converter and the flower was blowing back and forward in a light wind. Shortly after the second shot the spider got camera shy and hid between the white petals and the green bits.

Irma - I didn't notice the smiley face on the spider until you pointed it out. Strange..
