Have a Ricoh Caplio R3 which was dropped - and will probably be replaced by insurance (currently en-route to Ricoh in Melbourne for assessment, but I suspect it's deceased).

I like many of the Ricoh features - especially its small size, great optical zoom, macro quality and boot up time.

I like the look of the Panasonic DMC TZ1 also. None available or reviewed as far as I can tell.

Anyone any ideas??

Thanks

Paul

Most seem to use the same spiele from Panasonic, not sure how much decent info you will get.
G'day Paul, I think there are a lot of interesting new cameras that have come out since the R3, so I'd evaluate the field again. You might even pick up some bargains in superceded models that are still good. I recently picked up a Canon IXUS 55 for my wife and she (and I) loves it! Big Grin
