I got myself a set of those close up lenses today, kind of just to play around with a new affordable gadget.
And although you may cry out loud about me ruining the quality of my dedicated canon macro lense, you can get some funky results with those close ups.
I only took a few snaps so far, of those tiny tiny flowers (each of the individual flowers must be about 1mm across the opening):

Stunning colours Uli... :o beautiful velvety OOF areas, and just enough detail and DOF to keep my brain/eye happy that these aren't trying to be an abstracts. These kinds of shots (with large areas that are OOF) make great desktop wallpapers. Smile

ok, now you're getting bored, but it is a neat gadget.....
The first lot are 'Grape Hyacinths' and I was doing the same as you a few days ago. Got a little bee on mine.
