Another shot that I ignored first time through - I suppose because of the uneven exposure,haze, odd color cast and bad foreground. A crop and a little buff-up and it looks Ok - wonder what else I have in my archives that I can salvage...

But I did find that blue colour-cast a bit distracting. :/

Its just a quick-n-nasty photoshop job. Any thoughts? Obviously you were actually
there, so you know what the scene looked like.

I dunno, Adrian. Maybe its this 2-bit monitor on the hotel on the road, but it looks too uber-green to me - even the buildings. The blue color cast in the original was smoke in the air - so its sort-of-accurate - but still not "A" file material. I wouldn't mind a quick how-to on what you did however - there is some really good pp stuff there, and using some of your techniques, I might be able to recreate my memory of the original. Thanks.
