This panorama of sydney harbour is pretty spectacular. You can zoom in and see quite amazing detail, like people's heads in windows...
I can't find more information regarding the photo, but digg says it's actually a 715 megapixel photo - "made up of 14,729 jpg files, and the original image is a1.3Gb Photoshop file!"

I've actually taken a photo of almost the same scene when I was in Sydney, but obviously not with as much detail...
