Her name is Nella.

She's a cutey, looks a bit magenta though.
Is she wearing any makeup?
Hehe, nice,
Is Nella sticking her tongue out?
I like the darkened edges and the lit centre on the wall - is it painted like that?
Superdog!

I think the back drop gives that impression. Her fur is grey and the fur around her mouth is stained brown. I have a couple more shots I'm going to work on and try different backgrounds.
Yes Adam, the background is painted that way, however this is a digital background added after the shot was taken. I shoot against a green chromakey background.
Nice! Big Grin

When I read the title, I thought you were talking about Rufus, and about a 12 gauge shotgun (j/k) Big Grin
Pet dude, really nice as usual. I like how the splotchy background colors echo the colors on the toy.

But are you sure you had the dog at 100% opacity when you changed the background? Definitely seems to be a bit of a color cast. If your table-top fabric is black you can see that it's not showing as neutral when you look at the numbers in PS. At first I thought you were experimenting with gels on your lights. Smile

I must admit. I was trying to give a similar impression. Big Grin
I also did a little work to change the look of Nella. Tell me what you think.

Hey Colin,

The 2nd one looks much better - less "cloudy" or "murky" in terms of the colour. Well done! Really looks like a superdog! Let us know what your neighbour thinks! Big Grin
Hehe - looks like an Ewok from Star Wars... but definitely very cute! Big Grin
