Hmm thats a tough one, without knowing how much of the river they are planning to use for the race. Shooting from South Perth would be interesting with the city behind but it may make it a bit busy, panning from there would make it more interesting. If it covers enough length shooting from the side of either the Narrows or Causeway bridge could be good but it would be on the narrow corners of the race making it hard to capture as they fly towards you.
I did some database work for the local part of the race for their entrants & timings but I hadn't planned to shoot any of it as I have a wedding on that day. Certainly would be fun though, don't get enough of this kind of event down here.

Interesting! I'm interested as long as it doesnt clash with exams/study! bahaha

i think south perth will be the go liek for skyshow since there seems to be a good view from there. but its hard to tell without more info.
