When this guy saw me, s/he splashed back into it's hole and a few minutes later resurfaced with head out of the water first, than swam across the creek and joined the others in munching grass. Enjoy and comment as you wish!

Shawn, Muskrats are longer and have a different tail,

I'd title these "Brave Photographer!" Cool pictures but there's no way I could have taken them...even if I could have taken them. I'd have been high-tailing it out of there.

Valerie, These guys are affraid of humans and hide when they see us!
I am not that brave either, but I find people much more harmful than animals. Animals don't attack you for no reason, only if they are protecting their babies or food, perhaps when we invade their territory of comfort zone.
