The first is the sunset from our balcony at a resort the past weekend. Enjoyed this 3 nights in a row. Nice way to end the day.

I added the HDR version for comparison puposes.

This shot is of a Jaguar a friend won the use of for a full week (in a contest). Its their way of promoting this bad boy. $125,000! Sick.... I threw a lomo effect on it. Thoughts?

Beautiful sunset photograph and the Jag is my kind of car Big Grin
Very nice!!! and reflections! nice
Hey Jerry. Very nice sunset.

I am kind of of split mind on the lomo effect. It certainly makes the car look sleek and glossy - but maybe is a hair too high contrast for me. Is the lomo effect a filter? I could see a lot of uses for such a filter.
Thanks guys.

Rob, the lomo effect is an action. Would you like a copy? The last step allows you to continue and flatten the image or leave it in layers format and play with each of the settings. Its a combination of gradients, saturation etc...

I'll gladly email you a copy, and anyone else for that matter.

Cheers,
Sure fire it along - thanks J.
Love the sunset Jerry , what a beautiful car .

...... SHawn
The car looked too high contrast at first but after looking at the full size image I quite like the effect.
Nice colours in the sunset Jeri..........

i agree with Shane I really like the effect on the full size shot.......... very interesting
Thanks Shawn, Shane and Russ! I also did and HDR shot with the sunset and it turned out pretty nice. Managed to merge 9 photos together and achieved a -2 to +2 range.

Cheers, and thanks for the comments.

Adam,

I added the HDR version for a side by side comparison. Cheers.

Hi Jerry,

I think I like the first shot the best - very beautiful.

The car looks great - although I would also prefer a little less contrast.

Cheers,

Chris
