Thats some nice birds in the water. You freezed the action nicely in the last shot.

#3 is particularly cool.

I prefer #1 because the bird is in focus, yet the water looks plastic (probably meaning a longer exposure).
So why is the birdy not plastic looking.?

Plastic? These shots were taken seconds from each other with same camera settings and focal!

Very beautiful bird pictures... I couldn't pick one I like them all...

I think this is an good example of shots that are interesting as a series because each shot adds something to the next.

Can't explain, only that the water in #1 looks different from #2&3, maybe the resize ?
I still like it.

The images were edited in uncompressed TIFF format, using PS CS-2. There should be no artifacts. Maybe what you see is the waves s/he created and the reflection on the water. I think it's more like oil, but believe me it's water!
