Saker Falcon strutting its stuff.
We were told that the birds of prey only fly as much as they have to.
I guess that means for food and I think this one was looking for hand-outs.

I was lucky enough to have good light behind me, a good unobstructed view, and a beautiful wild bird, standing on the next bench to me, who kept still long enough for me to focus etc.
I dodged around its shadowy eye but otherwise its as is. They are great flying and very fast.
This shot shows how muscular and strong these creatures are. They aren't no chicken legs...
Great shot. All the stunning bird shots on the site lately make me want to find a local bird show and have a try.
I like a lot the detail you have in your picture NT, the bird looks very nice, you have also a great background... it doesn't look blown out..
