I bought some Christmas decorations for my dining table, and some feathers came with it... I started playing, and then I saw that the feathers looked nice... I took them with my new flash... Smile

NT, Yes. I am very happy with my new flash... Smile

Thanks so much for your comments Smile
Lovely shots Irma.

#1 is a winner, smooth and warm, yet sharp where it should be.

As for the light it looks very natural.

Bounced flash ? by the look of it, id say you had some ambient light contributing to the exposure aswell.

Awesome.

Really nice Christmassy photos, I still dont have a flash, on my list for next year. Wink
Thanks Paul, Pat for your comment.... Smile

Paul, yes, I took my picture with light from the dining room lamp, the thing is that if it is too dark it is very difficult to focus so I have to have a light source... This is something that has happen lately with my pictures... so I was thinking maybe if I had a constant light source to give me light to focus without interfering with the flash, it might be better, still don't know how to do it Sad
Irma i assume your new flash dosent have focus assist ? (emitting a light to assist the camera to lock focus)

Macro lenses tends to be pretty slow when it comes to af.

But in this case the ambient light dosent affect the image in a bad way. It looks great and very natural.

It has a red lamp that emits light for the auto focus function, I tested it with lucky and it worked... I really didn't know what that red light was for, until you asked...

still lots to learn about the flash... Sad

Thanks so much Paul... Smile
