as always any C/C is welcome .. and thanks for looking .......... Shawn
I like #1, and either the crop or the way you have framed it.
#2 & 3 don't appeal to me, but that is not to say others won't like them.
Well done.
I totally agree with NT. Great shooting Sean. You're doing great.Smile
Beautiful model Shawn. How did this come about? Was it a formal photography lesson with other photographers?
Great work Shawn... I like your pictures... However I would like to share some thoughts I got when I saw your pictures...

I think in this kind of photography, one is selling an idea... and there are some things I would consider like her accessories. In the first picture she has big earrings and necklace. As a woman, I think, I would have left them somewhere in the way before I got that shirt... Wink In the second and third pictures her accessories or props, don't know what word fits better, doesn't support the idea. I think, a glass of orange juice or a cup of coffee, something in relation with the moment would have supported more the idea.

You probably where shooting with professionals and most probably they know why they chose a white shirt in a white background... however to me a men red or black silk pyjamas would have been better, in a white background and more stylish... Smile

As I said, it is not a critique just my thoughts....

Always nice to see you around, Shawn Smile
I also am interested in the story behind this shoot.

#1 - I like it - I understand what Irma is saying about the jewelry, and would agree about the earrings - but the combination of a necklace and *borrowed* shirt is very sexy.

#2 - The pose and expression are great, but I don't like the props very much. The hat is fine - and the sunglasses could be cloned out, but the cushion is obtrusive, and pretty much impossible to reduce in PhotoShop, I think.

#3 has a swinging London of the 60s look to it that works really well. I also like the processing. Maybe just a slight straightening.

Well done Drake!
Boy you two have an eye for what your looking at I looked through and never noticed any thing.I have to agree with Irma. But I guess there is a reason why you shot them that way.

First let me say thanks to you all , there is a cool story to the shoot and sence yall asked ill tell yall, LOL .

I am on a small photo forum that out of memphis , tn . Well i have been posting some shots and they liked what i post . They know that i am new to photography and that i really want to learn . Then they have a meeting once a month , so i went and showed a few of my portraits that i took , and they took intrest in me . One person in particular was very eager to help me , hes like that when it comes to teaching people photography ( another long story ) . He invited me to a shoot , the girl is wanting to get into modeling ( and i want to get into shooting models ) funny how that works HUH ? I have met 3 great people on that site , and 1 other that is strange LOL , All of them have taught me sooooo much .
And there is more to the story , ( well yall asked Tongue ) the man that owns the studio ( we call it the Toy Room , its 2500 sq ft of all kinds of goodies , lights , props , backdrops , well just about anything that you can ask for ) back to the story , he told me that anytime that i want to go there and shoot just to hollar at him and he would be happy to let me in and play !!!!!!!!!

I have a bunch other shots , one for you Irma LOL . These were just a few of about, well 4 gigs of Raw ( how many is that LOL ) . this is one that kind of shows the " product " like you were saying Irma . I was just here shooting to shoot and hope that i got something that they liked .

But all in all this shoot was just for her portfolio and we didnt have any real " products " .

well one more LOL , this girl has so many different looks i thought i would share another .
