A couple years back I bought a 1 gig Lexar pro 80x cf card. Recently I somehow had corrupted the card by being silly and putting files on it that were not compatable. I went to the Lexar media site to look for any info that might help fix my card. See, the problem was that I purchased the card on E-bay brand new in a package but not from a retailer. I had no way of returning the card for warranty. That is until I found this info on the Lexar site. I was still unsure as to whether they would replace my card as they specifically asked for proof of purchase. I had nothing to lose so I mailed it anyway. Today I got the card returned good as new and updated with new firmware. Smile Anyway, I just thought this information might be useful to others.

Ouch, that must suck - putting files on the card corrupts it.. Big Grin

Good thing they've got a firmware update out... Big Grin
Recently they replaced my 2GB card the same way.
