I went to the FOCUS On Imaging trade show at the NEC in Birmingham last Monday.

I love freebies, so when I was approached by a rep on the Ilford stand I filled in the form and was handed 3 sheets of this new paper.

WOW!

I love it - It has the feel of Fibre Based traditional paper and the prints I did on it have a look and warmth to die for.

It's heavy weighing in at 310 gsm.

I can't praise this paper enough - other Matt papers have left me uninspired - this is a revelation!

Wow, sounds awesome! So is the surface smooth or more rough like matte? Glossy finish?

It is matte - and a beautiful surface just like old "Wet Room" fibre based paper.

I had a shock at the price though - £15 for around 15 or 20 sheets!

IThe do A3 size as well.

I will need to upgrade to a better printer to allow me to afford that.
