I've been trying to have an effect but nothing really worth to show. This time I worked with brushes. The picture is not so beautiful, but shows somehow what I was after.
Hope you like it...

That's nice. Like parchment/vellum.
Thanks NT...

I like this very much... The texture and tones you have created in the sky is beautiful and I love the colours in the trees and grass. Can I ask how long you spent on the post processing? It looks like alot of time!

I followed
this tutorial until page 6. I saw it was not exactly what I was after and I continued with some layes with brushes and noise. It took me more than two hours since it was the first time. I think with the time I could make it a bit faster...
Thanks for your comment

It is a very nice painterly effect. Have you considered making an action out of it?
Thanks Toad for your comment.
About the action, it would be nice. The thing is that I don't know well how to do an action with messages, and stop to do something, or re-edit them, if that would be possible. I have done some too easy ones, but nothing more complicated.
The texture of the photo melds with the leaves fragmenting them. That works beautifully. The color makes it look like fall.
Thanks Don. Yes, you are right, it is one of "my" trees...

It was in last autumn when I took this picture...

Great! It resembles a painting on canvas...
Just need to frame it now and it could hang on your living room wall

Thanks ST,
Few weeks ago I contacted an Art teacher to ask her about how to do this work. She gave me a link to some tutorials about photo manipulation and told me I had to work with a tablet...

to have better results.... I didn't work with the table, but with the brushes. I also like the result...
I will try with some more pictures and then try to make an action.
Very nice work Irma - you have really achieved a masterpiece

Thanks so much Chris...
I am really happy that you enjoy this one. I have tried the same treatment with other pictures but it seems that every picture needs its very own treatment.
The teacher has seen my work and she loved it. I am also very happy for that...

Yes - that is the biggest argument against actions...
