I went to the garden yesterday to take pictures of the willow, and I found it blooming and so busy. Here are some pictures of bees that I got.

Wonderful Irma... I like #3 too. Great amount of detail - love that you can see the pollen stuck to the bee...
all great photos , i like the 3rd one best . The second shot makes me wonder how fast the shutter speed needs to be to stop the wings ? very nice shots Irma .

After Shawn question I went to see my pictures again, and I found this one. I think the cluttered background doesn't let us see that the wing is stopped.
I think in this one you can see much better. Also helps that the crop makes it a bit closer. This is also at 1/1000sec.
