Its a pretty cool idea. If you made the bottom circle into liquid and added some shadows, the icicles would look like they were melting through the hole into a pool...nice colors on the ice btw.

I can't reproduce a pool with my version of PS. Colour is saturation pushed up to 100% 4/5 times.
I managed to use a couple of drop shadows and eraser tool, to remove shadow of pool on right to make it seem as though it is on the grey floor.
This is the original with a crop from the centre area. Not much of a shot, but it was really too cold to mess about with the settings.
