couple of early spring flowers the only ones around the yard as of yet

oh is it time for the crocusses yet? how nice!

I like your number 2, the colors are very vibrant and the background blurr puts the flowers nicely in focus (i.e. of viewer's attention). I might personally try to crop a bit of the right sight, so you end up roughly with a square, or at maybe 8x10

The rim of the flower and the brightest yellow in the stamina looks slightly burned, I don't know if that was your intention, could be a stylistic element.
or if you want, you could try to fix it.

In number 1 I find the background slightly too distracting and the perspective isn't, for my personal sense of aesthetics, chosen optimally

Spring flowers are very rewarding objects, keep shooting!

#2 does it for me, lovely & I think Uli's suggestion of a slight crop on the right is spot on.

Beautiful spring flowers indeed.
I love them, they are the announcers of warmer weather.
They came very early this year, I took some pictures of them 10 days ago and they were already in full bloom.

SPRING!!! awww your lucky.

Nice colorful images. #2 is my favourite.
