Available light. I ued my technique of merging a series of images high and low contrast. Then merged a bright high contrast image of just the hand.

Its a very nice technique - kind of HDR without the falseness that comes with many HDR images.

It doesn't always work but sometimes I actually do seem to increase dyunamic range. I also use it with details and portions of the photo.
