I'm I alone at wondering why the upgrade for Photoshop CS3 cost more than two times a much in the UK as in the USA?

USA price $349 = £175
UK price £386

Hmm... yeah everyone outside the US always seems to get the raw end of the deal. I thought US prices were cheaper though - US $649 full and $199 upgrade?

Word is that the prices in Oz will be around AUD $345 RRP and AUD $299 street for an upgrade; full version to cost $1125 RRP and $969.00 street.

That equates to around 287 / 249 / 936 / 806 USD respectively...

I was looking at the prices for Photoshop Extended I think.

You probably were.

The standard upgrade costs £157.99 from amazon.co.uk - so I imagine it'll be about the same price from the likes of Warehouse Express too.

£157.99 is better but is still more than the dollar price converted to GBP *shrug*

Here's a hint. If you know anyone who is a student or faculty at a university, try to get them to buy it at the University bookstore. The educational discounts are very deep...
