Yeh, I like this one, DOn. Classic composition - and the simplification is working well.

Thanks Toad. I sometimes think I overdo this stuff I have to control myself. I recently acquired a real copy of Photoshop 6. I find it better in some ways that Photosuite 4.

That's REALLY cool Don!! If it wasn't posted on a photography forum, I would think it was a painting!!!
Well done mate! Was it hard to do?

I know what you mean, Don - I got really carried away for a while with over-simplifying my photos - I am starting to move away from that now - but it is a very appealing look, and can sometimes make an ordinary photo look extraordinary.

Hey, I agree with everyone - the "painting" effect looks great...

Thanks guys. Actually it was a small detail from a 3.2 megapix camera snatched through a bus window. This treatment was about the only thing I could do to save the shot. When I retire I may be able to take more real photos (lol).

You should make a "pictures from bus window" gallery
hehe

Some brief instructions on how to use the gallery:
1. Click on the gallery link up top
2. Click create/order my albums to create a new album
3. Click upload file, and upload some piccies
4. After successful upload message appears, press continue and Assign the photos to your new gallery
Send me a PM if you're having trouble... I'll be glad to help out.
Cheers,
Julian

Dear Julian:
I tried to set up a gallery. I "successfully uploaded" some shots buut they didn't appear anywhere and I ended up with an empty gallery. What did I do wrong?

Hi Don, after successful upload, make sure you press continue to assign the uploaded photos to albums. It appears you managed to upload some successfully... sorry again for the confusing workflow... I'm using a open source script for the gallery
