Rolleyes

Nice pix, nice birds. They stand with their butts facing the wind Big Grin

Have either of you ever managed to get any good pix of a seagulll in flight, I mean fairly close so the flying gull fills the frame?

That's another thing I'm working on, got some bad ones, none in sharp focus as yet. I've been trying at 300mm on continuous focus and at least I seem to be getting better at keeping the bird in the frame Rolleyes

Polly
hahaha! clones!!!

I got some copycat pictures, but of very different animals doing the same thing *looks at peter* *looks at seagull* *looks at self* *runs away* oh, I mean *flies away*
I have a thing for seagulls, I have dozens of photos of them. I've never really tried to capture one in flight though Polly.
I think adam or peter had some here, including some strange looking ones! Smile

Some more to feed your 'thing'.

Whenever I eat my lunch there, they come and watch me...

Excellent Adam.
Reminds me of that movie.. Crouching Adam, Hidden Seagull
Hey adam, I love the first shot shot of the seagull in flight. The blurred background is awesome!
Great photos here! I also like the blurred background shot, Adam.
Wow, an echo! Big Grin

How's things these days lisa? Been taking more photos?
eeehhhh...a bit slooow these days, I'm afraid! Have taken a few more....weather has been really crappy with the hurricanes blowing through - but then I suppose sometimes crappy weather can make a decent picture!

How are things with you?
Here's one ......color looks kinda weird though....

hmmm....what did i do wrong there??
Hi lisa... things have been well with me too... spent Saturday singing at an awesome youth service for church, and Sunday was relaxing, washing the car, vacuuming, watching movies, that sort of stuff. Smile

Hm... interesting texture on the ground in your photo. Was it very foggy over there? Everything is a little hazy Smile
Hi ST...glad you had a good weekend!

In the picture above, a storm had just finished and we were on top of the mountain (got caught in the rain going up...yuck!); it overlooks a lake. Lots of clouds were in the midst of clearing out!
Ah, rain... that explains it Smile

I must do an outdoor-sy type day trip one of these days to take some photos... haven't done one in a while...
lismg9: I like the color - but then I tend to like "weird" color. Just kidding - the color doesn't look weird to me at all - there is something odd in the look of the ground at the extreme bottom of the pic - selective saturation, simplification, or curves??.
Toad: when you say 'bottom of pic' , are you referring to the rocks or the water??
