I'm just wondering if any wizzes out there know how the canon (or any other brand) image stabilizer works on their lenses?
special techno wizardry which is beyond me, but lens would use some sensors and micro gyros with one or more of the elements.

Jwith 7D though, the CCD itself is stabilised!
There's a special lens that moves Wink
I'll find the page that explains it for you Wink
Here you go:
Canon Camera Museum Then click on image stabiliser
I hope this isn't considered "deep-linking" Wink
