G'Day to all my friends. Just one question. I am using a FujiFilm FinePix S5500 Digital camera. I have a HOYA, CIR-POLARIZING Filter, and a HOYA, PL(POLARIZING) Filter. Could anyone tell me the best of these two filters to use.

The difference between a Circular and a Linear polarizing filter is that some AF systems need the more expensive CP version. There's no difference in the final image.

It depends upon the way light is sent to your sensor, if you mirror is silvered and you are dividing the light the PL will cause your sensor to behave erratically and give you false readings. It might slow your capture speed. I believe that in automatic shutter or apature you might get a different benchmark on your setups.. I could be wrong, but I have been told not to use a Linear Polarizer on my Nikon DSLRs.
